What a show!!!

Sometimes you are proud to be part of something and then sometimes you are over the moon about being part of something.   I am totally over the moon about being part of this quilt show.   Our Guild displayed their talent in quilt making, hosting a fantastic tea room, presenting a wonderful Members Boutique, attracting a tremendous sampling of vendors, and selling a record number of tickets for our raffle quilt. What a great two days and what a wonderful membership we have.  Kudos to you Faye and your team of tireless workers!!!

Below are some samples of the displays, boutiques, and vendors.

The Boutique did its best business ever!!!

The "Tea Room" was great....Tea for Two was a hit!!

The Uxbridge Historical Centre is hosting 'The Hat Lady' Norma Shephard, acclaimed fashion critic, author, and director of the Mobile Millinery Museum and Costume Archive. She will be bringing her Retrospective Millinery Fashion Show to the Uxbridge Seniors' Centre on September 30, 2011 at 7:30 pm as a fundraiser for our museum. I spoke to one of your members today about your upcoming Victorian Tea and hat event and thought that some of your members might be interested in our hat event. We will also have a local hatmaker at the event with a display of her tools of the trade. If you are interested, please give me a call.
