April Show and Share

Here are some examples of this month's show and share....

April Speaker - Tiffany Tuttle

Young Oshawa entrepreneur and future Quilting Allstar,  Tiffany Tuttle was the  speaker for our April meeting.  Tiffany has been sewing since she was 8 and quilting since she was 12. She also teaches sewing lessons to children  ages 8 and up. Tiffany feels that sewing and quilting can become a lost art, if the next generation is not encouraged to participant.  .  Great work Tiffany.
Tiffany’s trunk show was amazing….a wonderful collection of quilts, wall hangings, and table runners. Such a repertoire for one so young. Can you just imagine in 10 years what a collection she will have!!!

Tiffany's proud parents were her assistants.

Mystery Quilt Workshop

I hope mine turns out as good as this one
Betty Ann held two workshop session last week to show the mystery quilt # 2 (scrappy) participants how to assemble the block.  Betty Ann also gave us some tips on how to construct the borders.   The finished quilt she bought to the class is beautiful.

We all enjoyed putting together the block puzzle.  Each quilt will look similar but be very different. Can't wait to see them all at show and share...

This is a happy group..one block finished and 29 more to go !!!!
